How often do you test backups?+
Recovery testing is part of the service, and the schedule depends on your systems and your service agreement. The principle is simple: a backup you have never restored from is a gamble, not a strategy, so we restore data regularly to confirm it works.
Will backups protect us from ransomware?+
Backups are a key part of ransomware recovery, but only if they are protected from the same attack and tested. We keep backup copies separate from your main systems, monitor them, and plan the recovery steps in advance. Backup works best alongside layered cybersecurity.
What happens to our systems during a hurricane?+
That depends on the plan we build together. We look at what needs to keep running, how your team will work if the office is closed or without power, and how systems are restored afterward. Planning and testing before storm season is what makes the difference.
Is Microsoft 365 data included?+
Yes. Microsoft 365 backup is part of what we manage, because Microsoft 365 doesn't include the backup most businesses assume it does. Mail and files can be restored from our backup independently of Microsoft's own retention.
