Restaurant and Hospitality IT Support on the Treasure Coast

Restaurants, bars, cafes, breweries, caterers, and small hotels and inns in Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Hobe Sound, Jupiter, and northern Palm Beach County.

IT that keeps the tickets moving

A restaurant has no slow way to fail. When the point of sale freezes on a Friday night, the kitchen printers stop, online orders do not come through, or the card readers lose their connection, every minute shows up in lost sales and unhappy guests. Behind the dining room, the office runs payroll, scheduling, vendor invoices, and reservations, and that is where phishing and fake invoices usually land.

Titan IT Management is a locally owned, family- and veteran-owned IT company based in Stuart. We manage the network, Wi-Fi, computers, accounts, backups, and security behind your restaurant or hospitality business so your team can focus on guests. When a problem belongs to your POS, reservation, or payment vendor, we handle the call with them for you.

What we address

POS and online order uptime
Guest Wi-Fi separation

Email security and phishing
Staff turnover and access
Cyber insurance questionnaires

One point of contact for your software vendors

Most restaurants and hospitality businesses rely on several outside systems: point of sale, kitchen display and printers, online ordering and delivery integrations, reservations and waitlists, scheduling and payroll, accounting, and payment processing. Common systems include Toast, Square, Clover, Aloha from NCR Voyix, OpenTable, Resy, and QuickBooks, among others.

We act as liaison to your POS, reservation, and other software vendors. When support, an install, an update, or an issue needs the vendor, we coordinate with them on your behalf. That means we open the ticket, explain the environment, give their technicians the access they need while it is needed, and follow up until it is resolved. You do not have to sit on hold in the middle of service or figure out whether the problem is the POS, the network, the internet connection, or a printer.

To be clear about what that means: we are not a reseller, partner, or authorized representative of these vendors, and we do not have a special support line into them. We go through the same support channels your business would, and we bring the technical detail that gets the issue resolved faster. The software itself, its licensing, its hardware warranties, and its features stay between your business and the vendor.

How Titan helps

  • A network built for service. Business-grade firewall, switches, and Wi-Fi, with separate networks for POS and payment devices, staff, guests, and cameras, so a guest device never shares a network with your card readers.
  • Internet that keeps working. Primary internet plus a backup connection, such as cellular, so online orders and card processing keep running when the main line drops. Many cloud POS systems can also take payments offline for a time; we help you understand how yours behaves before you need it.
  • Office computers and devices. Managed, patched, and monitored computers in the office and at the host stand, with updates scheduled outside service hours.
  • Access and logins. Individual accounts for managers instead of one shared password, multi-factor authentication on email and back-office systems, and quick removal of access when someone leaves.
  • Email security. Advanced email filtering and phishing protection, with training that helps managers spot fake vendor invoices, gift card scams, and payment change requests.
  • Backup and tested recovery. Backup of office computers and files, separate backup of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and restores we actually test and record.
  • Cameras and phones. We install and support security cameras and business phone systems, and keep them on their own part of the network.

Card payments and PCI, in plain terms

Every business that accepts cards is expected to follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, known as PCI DSS. Your payment processor decides what you need to validate each year, often a self-assessment questionnaire. Many modern POS systems take on a large share of the card security work, but the network around them is still yours.

Here is where we fit. We help with PCI readiness on the IT side: keeping payment devices on their own network, keeping guest Wi-Fi away from business systems, patching, unique logins, MFA, and a written record of how your network is set up. That record makes your self-assessment easier to answer honestly.

What we do not do is certify PCI compliance. We are not a qualified security assessor, and no IT company can make that call for you. Your business, your processor, and where required a qualified assessor confirm what applies.

If customer card or personal information is exposed, timelines matter. Florida law adds a 30-day notice requirement for many breaches of personal information, and your processor will have its own requirements. Our article on Florida data breach law for small businesses explains the Florida side.

Staff turnover, seasons, and multiple locations

Restaurants hire fast, especially in season. Every new manager needs access to email, scheduling, and back-office tools, and every departure is a password that should stop working that day. We set up access by role, keep a simple list of who has what, and remove access promptly when someone leaves.

If you run more than one location, we keep networks, devices, and security settings consistent from site to site, so a fix at one location is a fix everywhere and a new location opens on a known setup.

Payment fraud often arrives by email: a "vendor" asks to change bank details, or an "owner" asks a manager to buy gift cards. MFA, email protection, and training help. The most important control is still a simple habit: confirm any change to payment or bank details by phone at a number you already have on file. Learn more in What is business email compromise?

Hours, onsite visits, and local support

Our Stuart office at 900 SE Ocean Blvd, Suite 130D, is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern, and our help desk is staffed during those hours on every plan. Most issues are solved remotely. When a visit is the right call, our technicians come to you anywhere across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County. On Atlas, Hyperion, and Helios, onsite visits are scheduled as needed and billed as written in your agreement. Cronus adds priority onsite response and 24/7 help desk coverage under the plan agreement, which matters for businesses that do most of their sales at night and on weekends.

Restaurants with evening and weekend hours, or more than one location, usually look at Helios or Cronus. Helios adds email encryption, phishing training, compliance readiness support, and quarterly reviews, and Cronus adds 24/7 help desk coverage. Hyperion and above include vendor management, which is where our software vendor liaison work lives. See every plan and starting price on our managed service plans page.

Let's keep your service running and your guests happy.

Start with an IT assessment. We will look at your network, Wi-Fi, computers, accounts, backups, and security, recommend the plan that fits, and put the price in writing.

Titan provides technical safeguards and readiness support, not legal advice or PCI certification. Your business, its payment processor, and its advisors should confirm how PCI DSS and Florida law apply to you.

FAQ

Restaurant and hospitality IT questions, answered

Do you support Toast, Square, Clover, or Aloha?+

We work with restaurants that use these and other common POS systems. We manage the network, Wi-Fi, computers, accounts, and security around them, and we act as liaison to the vendor when support, installs, updates, or issues need their help. We are not a reseller or partner of these vendors and do not have a direct support line; we work through their standard support channels on your behalf.

Can you make us PCI compliant?+

No IT company can certify that, and we are not a qualified security assessor. We put the network safeguards in place, document them, and help you answer your processor's questionnaire accurately.

Can guest Wi-Fi be on the same internet line as our POS?+

Usually, yes, as long as it is set up correctly. We separate guest Wi-Fi from your POS, payment, and office systems so guests can share the connection without sharing the network.

What happens if our internet goes down during service?+

With a backup connection in place, traffic switches over automatically in most cases. We also help you understand how your POS handles offline payments.

Do you support more than one location?+

Yes. We keep networks, devices, and security consistent across locations and visit any site across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County when needed.

Can you help with our cyber insurance questionnaire?+

Yes. We go through the questions with you, confirm which controls are actually in place, close the gaps that matter, and keep documentation ready for renewal.
