Marina and Marine Business IT Support on the Treasure Coast

Marinas, boatyards, dry stack storage, yacht service and brokerage offices, charter operators, and marine retailers in Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Sebastian, Hobe Sound, Jupiter, and northern Palm Beach County.

IT that works as hard as the waterfront

A marine business does not run from one desk. The dock office checks in transients and sells fuel, the ship store rings up sales, the service yard writes work orders, the office handles contracts and billing, and guests expect Wi-Fi that reaches the end of the pier. When the internet drops at the fuel dock, the card reader stops working, or a fake invoice from a "parts supplier" lands in the office inbox, the whole operation feels it.

Titan IT Management is a locally owned, family- and veteran-owned IT company based in Stuart. We manage the computers, network, Wi-Fi, accounts, backups, and security behind your marina or marine business so your team can focus on boats and customers. When a problem belongs to your marina software or payment vendor, we handle the call with them for you.

What we address

Dock and guest Wi-Fi
Hurricane-ready backups
POS and payment fraud
Email security and phishing
Seasonal staff access
Cyber insurance questionnaires

One point of contact for your software vendors

Most marine businesses rely on several outside systems: marina management and dockage billing, reservations and online booking, point of sale for fuel and retail, service work orders, accounting, payment processing, and sometimes gate access or cameras. Common systems include Dockwa, DockMaster, MarinaOffice, Molo (now Storable Marine), Square, Toast, and QuickBooks, among others.

We act as liaison to your marina software, booking, point of sale, and accounting vendors. When support, an install, an update, or an issue needs the vendor, we coordinate with them on your behalf. That means we open the ticket, explain the environment, give their technicians the access they need while it is needed, and follow up until it is resolved. You do not have to sit on hold or figure out whether the problem is the software, the computer, the card reader, or the network.

To be clear about what that means: we are not a reseller, partner, or authorized representative of these vendors, and we do not have a special support line into them. We go through the same support channels your business would, and we bring the technical detail that gets the issue resolved faster. The software itself, its licensing, and its features stay between your business and the vendor.

How Titan helps

  • Network and Wi-Fi built for the waterfront. Business-grade wireless planned around long docks, metal buildings, and salt air, with separate networks for staff, guests, and payment devices so a guest laptop never shares a network with your card readers.
  • Internet that keeps working. Primary internet plus a backup connection, such as cellular, so check-in, booking, and card processing keep running when the main line goes down.
  • Point of sale and payment devices. Managed computers and network support for the fuel dock, ship store, and front desk, with coordination with your POS and payment vendors when a terminal or integration needs their help.
  • Access and logins. Individual accounts instead of shared passwords, multi-factor authentication on email and remote access, and quick setup and removal of access as seasonal staff come and go.
  • Email security. Advanced email filtering and phishing protection, with training that helps your office spot fake supplier invoices and payment change requests.
  • Backup and tested recovery. Image-based backup of your server and key workstations, separate backup of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and restores we actually test and record.
  • Cameras and security systems. We install and support security cameras, and we coordinate with your gate, access control, or alarm provider when their system shares your network.

Hurricane season, planned before the cone

On the Treasure Coast, hurricane prep is part of running a marine business, and your IT belongs in that plan. We help you build a simple, written storm plan for your technology: which systems are backed up offsite and how recently, which equipment gets shut down, unplugged, or moved, who can reach email and files if the office is closed, and how phones and booking pages are handled while the docks are cleared. We review it before the season, confirm backups when a storm is coming, and help you bring systems back in a sensible order afterward.

Backups are only useful if they can be restored. That is why we test restores and keep a record of them, so you know your contracts, billing records, and customer files can come back even if equipment at the marina does not.

Card payments, fraud, and customer data

Fuel, slips, storage, service, and retail add up to a lot of card payments. Card brands expect merchants to follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We help with PCI readiness on the IT side, such as keeping payment devices on their own network, patching, access control, and documentation. We do not certify PCI compliance. Your business and your payment processor determine what you need to validate, and the processor or a qualified assessor confirms it.

Payment fraud often arrives by email. A message that looks like it came from a boat owner, a parts supplier, or a contractor asks to change bank details or rush a payment. We reduce that risk with MFA, email protection, sign-in monitoring, and training. The most important control is still a simple habit: confirm any change to payment or bank details by phone at a number you already have on file. Learn more in What is business email compromise?

Customer files also hold personal details. If something goes wrong, Florida law adds a 30-day notice requirement for many breaches of personal information. Our article on Florida data breach law for small businesses explains what that means.

Hours, onsite visits, and local support

Our Stuart office at 900 SE Ocean Blvd, Suite 130D, is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern, and our help desk is staffed during those hours on every plan. Most issues are solved remotely. When a visit is the right call, our technicians come to you anywhere across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County. On Atlas, Hyperion, and Helios, onsite visits are scheduled as needed and billed as written in your agreement. Cronus adds priority onsite response and 24/7 help desk coverage under the plan agreement, which helps operations that stay busy on weekends.

Many marine businesses fit Hyperion or Helios. Hyperion and above include vendor management, which is where our software vendor liaison work lives, and Helios adds email encryption, phishing training, and quarterly reviews. Busy multi-site operations often choose Cronus for priority onsite and around-the-clock help desk coverage. See every plan and starting price on our managed service plans page.

Let's make your technology one less thing to worry about on the water.

Start with an IT assessment. We will look at your computers, network, Wi-Fi, accounts, backups, and security, recommend the plan that fits, and put the price in writing.

Titan provides technical safeguards and readiness support, not legal advice or PCI certification. Your business, its payment processor, and its advisors should confirm how PCI DSS and Florida law apply to you.

FAQ

Marina and marine business IT questions, answered

Do you support Dockwa, DockMaster, MarinaOffice, or Molo?+

We work with marine businesses that use these and other common marina systems. We manage the computers, network, accounts, backups, and security around them, and we act as liaison to the vendor when support, installs, updates, or issues need their help. We are not a reseller or partner of these vendors and do not have a direct support line; we work through their standard support channels on your behalf.

Can you get reliable Wi-Fi out to our docks?+

In most cases, yes. We assess your buildings and docks, recommend business-grade access points, and keep guest Wi-Fi separate from office and payment systems.

What happens to our systems during a hurricane?+

We help you plan ahead: confirm backups before the storm, decide what gets shut down or moved, and make sure key staff can reach email and files remotely. After the storm, we help you bring systems back and check what was affected.

Can you make us PCI compliant?+

No IT company can certify that for you. We put technical safeguards in place, such as separating payment devices from other traffic, patching, and access control, and we document them. Your processor tells you what you need to validate.

How do you handle seasonal staff?+

We set up individual accounts with only the access each role needs, and we remove that access promptly when someone leaves, so passwords do not walk out the door at the end of the season.

Can you help with our cyber insurance questionnaire?+

Yes. We go through the questions with you, confirm which controls are actually in place, close the gaps that matter, and keep documentation ready for renewal.
